You're doing what?!

I am going to France to manage a castle.  These are not words you hear every day and yet these are the words coming out of my mouth!  I don't know what is more shocking, the fact that I'm moving to France or that I'm attempting to blog. What started out as a reply to a craigslist posting, has turned in to my reality or surreal-ality.  It's a long story that should probably begin with "Once upon a time..." However, blogs are supposed to be short and sweet, right?! Ah, this is the time I long, as I did when I was younger, for my sister's way with words.  While I have the gift of gab, on paper it comes out as run-on sentences while in my head it sounds like Dr. Suess.
